Hemiscope is a small collection of free daily puzzle games — geography, history, logic and ranking. Each one takes a couple of minutes, keeps your streak, and ends with a result worth sharing. No account, no install, plays fine on a phone.
How it works
Every game here runs on the same daily rhythm. One puzzle per day, the same puzzle for everyone, resetting at midnight in your own timezone. Finish it and you get a spoiler-free grid you can paste anywhere, plus a streak that carries as long as you keep showing up. Nothing is stored on a server — your stats live in your own browser.
The geography games are built on a curated public dataset of every country: borders, capitals, population, land area, flag colours and more. Distances use realistic border-to-border figures rather than naive centre-to-centre ones, so guessing a large neighbour behaves the way you'd expect. Timeline draws on a bank of fact-checked historical events, and Top 10 on published rankings that are re-checked as they change.

If you already play Wordle-style daily games, Vault will feel most familiar — pure deduction with colour-coded feedback, and it needs no outside knowledge at all. If you'd rather play on instinct, try Top 10: you'll know more about the ranking than you expect. For the deepest game of the set, Hemiscope rewards actually reasoning about where a country must be rather than guessing at random — every wrong guess narrows the map.
Each game has a “How to play” button in its header covering the rules and scoring, and most include an unlimited practice mode so you can learn without spending your daily puzzle.
